 Manaslu Expedition 8163m Duration : 55 days (International Arrival-Departure) Climbing period : 30 days Approach : Arughat |
| Manaslu, the eighth highest mountain in the world, is located about forty miles east of Annapurna I. It is one of the popular 8000m. peaks for climbing in the Himalayas of Nepal, especially among Japanese. The mountain's long ridges and valley glaciers offer feasible approaches from all directions. Possible avalanches in bad weather, crevasses and slippery snow make this mountain a little distinct from other mountains in Nepal . Normally four high camps are established in the approach. Crevasses between Camp I & Camp II and avalanche threat from Camp III to Camp IV are notable in climbing the peak | | ITINERARY - Manaslu Expedition 8163m | Day 01 Arrival in Kathmandu transfer to Hotel Day 02 Kathmandu Day 03 Kathmandu Day 04 Drive to Gorkha and arrange porters Day 05 Trek to Kanchok Day 06 Trek to Khursani bari Day 07 Trek to Macha Khola Day 08 Trek to Jagat1250m) Day 09 Trek to Nayak Day 10 Trek to Prok Day 11 Trek to Namru Day 12 Trek to Lho(2250m) Day 13 Trek to Sama gaon(3250m) Day 14 Trek to Manaslu B.C.
